HALLOWEEN

Last friday was Halloween. I was so excited because this was my first time to enjoy the festival abroad. The Halloween atmosphere is totally different from China. I saw most people here wore special custom everywhere that maked Seattle full of fun. Unfortunately, I haven't had the experience to celebrate this kind of festival, so I didn't dress up. I just took a lot of photos. But I think I will pay attention to this festival next year and wear an interesting costum which can catch people's eyes. At that day, I bought some candy and I was looking forward to the "trick or treater", but no one came to my house. I was a little strange and disappointed. So I need to eat the candy by myself. I hope next Halloween will more interesting.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Today is my friend's eighteenth birthday. He was so excited that his aunt came and cooked a lot of delicious food including his birthday cake. His party was organized by his aunt as well. And I had never eatten so much food before. This party began at three. It's so early. But nobady cared about this. There were fifteen people came to his party. We ate, drunk and also played some interesting games. After this early party, they played basketball in a park near his home. We were all enjoyed this party. I really wanna a big party next year like this aha.~

My hometown

I love my hometown which is the most fantastic city in China. There has an incredible night view. The people around the world travel there every year during their vacation. Lets me tell you some special things in my hometown.
There has The Oriental Pearl TV Tower which is the tallest tower in Asia. You can see the whole view of my hometown on this tower. And the International Finacial Building has already been built recently. It is the tallest building in the world. I have not visited but I am really looking forward to. A lot of large malls are located here, you can buy everthing you want. I think the people who have visited here enjoy my hometown very much.
Do you know which city I am talking about? This is Shanghai, my lovely hometown. Have you ever been there or do you plan to visit there?

About myself

Hello, my name is Huaping Wu and you can also call me Vase. I am the Chinese girl who have big eyes and long black hair. I enjoy music very much cuase I can sing well and dance a little as well. Also I can cook some delicious food and tidy my room by myself everyday, this can show that I am independent and I can take care of myself well.


This is the first time I arrived U.S. I love Seattle. The people there are so friendly and helpful. I really enjoy my life now.


And now, I am a new student here. I feel so excited that I can study here with these international students. Today is my third day I attend school. I think I need to improve my English more cause I am always misunderstood other person because of the language. This is the most important things I should do now. I will try my best to be super Huaping with fluence English.
